I'm a London-based freelance editor and writer recently returned from working in the desert. I was features editor for the Kids' titles at Time Out Middle East . I wrote and edited magazine content, managed the Time Out Kids social media accounts, produced Time Out Guides content, and wrote a weekly kids' DPS for Time Out Dubai. Oh, and looked after my two small children on my 'days off'!

What did I do before Dubai? I became editor of Caravan magazine in June 2007, rising to become senior editor of the title and its sister brand, Motor Caravan. I was the youngest editor at IPC Media at that time, and also the first female editor of Caravan in its 75-year history. Shortlisted for both Editor and Magazine of the Year at the IPC Media awards in 2010, my success was attributed to 'unwavering optimism in times of adversity....her positive attitude and approachability really motivated the team to deliver'.
